People looking for your restaurant often land on a delivery platform first – and every order there costs roughly 13 to 30% commission, depending on the platform and model. Your own website with online ordering gives regulars a direct way to you: your brand, your prices, your guest data and a fixed monthly price instead of commission.
What the website includes
A home page with your photos and opening hours, the full menu with ordering, cart and checkout, delivery zones with fees and minimum order, coupons, loyalty, scheduled orders and auto-generated legal notice, privacy policy and terms. Pages are available in German, French, Italian and English.
How orders arrive
Every order appears instantly on the kitchen screen and can be printed on a receipt printer (Star CloudPRNT, Epson Server Direct Print, Sunmi or USB/PC printers via pairing code). Optionally you also get a Telegram alert. The guest receives an email confirmation.
Getting found on Google
The website runs on your own domain and includes local pages for your delivery areas. In the admin you connect Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console. For local search we recommend linking your Google Business Profile to the website and keeping name, address and phone number identical everywhere.

Can I use my existing domain?+
Yes. You connect your own domain in the admin; the SSL certificate is issued automatically.
Does Akarien Direct handle delivery?+
No. Akarien Direct is the ordering system; delivery is done by your own team or a courier partner. You set delivery zones, fees and minimum orders yourself.
How do guests pay?+
Today on pickup or delivery by TWINT, card or cash. Online payment via Stripe during checkout is in development.
Can I stay on delivery platforms in parallel?+
Yes. Many restaurants use platforms to reach new customers and their own website for regulars, who then order without commission.
